Frequent pathologies
Atopic dermatitis
Atopic dermatitis (eczema) is a condition that causes dry, itchy, and inflamed skin. It's common in young children but can occur at any age. Atopic dermatitis is long-lasting (chronic) and usually worsens periodically. It can cause irritation, but it's not contagious.
Molluscum contagiosum
Molluscum contagiosum is a fairly common skin infection caused by a virus. It causes round, firm, painless bumps that vary in size, ranging from the size of a pinhead to the size of a pencil eraser. Early diagnosis is important for proper removal of lesions.
Pityriasis Alba
Pityriasis alba is a common skin problem that causes round or oval spots that appear lighter than the rest of the skin. At first, the spots may appear pink or slightly scaly. The appearance of the spots may bother you, but they are not harmful.
